Rohit Sharma was not available to play in the Lucknow Super Giants vs Mumbai Indians IPL 2025 in Lucknow on Friday.
“Rohit got hit in the knee in nets and he misses out,” MI captain Hardik Pandya revealed during the toss.
Mumbai has made two changes in the playing XI with Will Jacks replacing Rohit and Raj Angad Bawa making his debut for the franchise, replacing Mujeeb Ur Rahman.
Rohit has so far played three matches so far and scored 21 runs opening the innings. The former MI captain played as an Impact Player in the last two games.
