During the June 3, 2025 episode of WWE NXT, fans once again took over the broadcast with deafening “We want Truth” chants.
The protest broke out during the opening six-man tag team match between Chase U (Andre Chase, Kale Dixon, and Uriah Connors) and DarkState members Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars.
It was an unmistakable message. Just like on Monday’s RAW, where the same chant disrupted the Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier, the crowd made it clear they haven’t forgiven WWE renewing R-Truth. The chants rang out repeatedly, overpowering commentary and nearly drowning out the in-ring action.
Despite the company’s efforts to move forward—with a stacked card including Trick Williams defending the TNA World Championship and Tyra Mae Steele’s debut—fans in the arena refused to let WWE off the hook. “WE WANT TRUTH.”
That’s all it took. One chant, repeated by hundreds, to remind the company exactly who they’re fighting with.
Will WWE finally address the backlash? Or will the crowd take control of every show until R-Truth gets the respect they believe he deserves?
