It looks like Logan Paul isn’t holding back when it comes to Travis Scott’s WWE journey. The social media star-turned-WWE wrestler made a pointed remark about Scott’s training during the latest episode of Impaulsive, adding fuel to the ongoing conversation about Scott’s future in the ring.
During the conversation, popular content creator Ray asked Paul what it takes to become a WWE Superstar. Paul, who has made major waves himself in WWE, laid it out plain and simple.
“If you started doing 100 push ups and 100 sit ups a day I think it could work,” Paul told Ray, after confirming that strength is essential for anyone hoping to step into the squared circle.
The conversation quickly turned to Travis Scott, who made headlines after getting dropped with a Cross Rhodes by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. When Ray mentioned Scott’s involvement, Paul didn’t hesitate to throw in his own opinion on the rapper’s WWE efforts. “I’ll be honest with you. He’s a little fickle with his training,” Paul revealed.
Ray wasn’t discouraged, joking that if Travis Scott can step in the ring, so can he. “It’s cool. If Travis Scott can do it, I can do it,” Ray said. Paul agreed, telling Ray, “I think you can definitely do it, Ray.”
Scott’s appearance at Elimination Chamber earlier this year alongside John Cena shocked the WWE Universe and made it clear this wasn’t a one-off stunt. Reports later confirmed that his involvement with WWE had been in the works for months, with plans for a major angle starting as early as January.
It was also reported that Travis Scott has been training for an in-ring role, working with a WWE legend at a wrestling school. Though most within the company were kept in the dark, the rapper’s wrestling aspirations have been slowly taking shape behind the scenes.
Even The Rock commented on the situation following Elimination Chamber, hinting that WWE has big plans for Scott’s future.
“Yes, that’s why we’re doing it, absolutely. Good question — long gaming. Look, I love Travis Scott, that’s my guy… Travis loves the business, he loves pro wrestling, and he’s a culture guy,” The Rock said during the post-show.
With no timetable officially set for Scott’s in-ring debut, fans are left wondering how serious the rapper really is about stepping between the ropes — especially with Logan Paul now publicly questioning his commitment.
