Former WWE star Gene Snitsky is best known for his wild and controversial segments during the Ruthless Aggression era. It’s been a long time since fans have seen him on WWE television, and now he has set the record straight about possibly returning to the company.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Snitsky was asked about the possibility of returning to WWE. He said that decision wasn’t up to him and people would have to ask WWE. He explained that he’s been staying in shape and taking care of his health.
At this stage in his life, Snitsky revealed he wouldn’t be interested in working a part-time schedule. However, he said he’d definitely be open to a one-time appearance at the Royal Rumble because it helps keep his name out there and benefits his business and personal brand.
“I don’t know—you have to ask them. Like I said, I was trying to keep myself in good shape and condition. At this point in my life, I wouldn’t even consider a part-time schedule. But a one-off at the Royal Rumble? Absolutely—’cause it keeps my face out there, it’s good for my shop and brand.”
Snitsky has been keeping himself busy in the independent circuit since his WWE departure many years ago, and he continues to perform his iconic baby punting spot whenever possible.
Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether Snitsky will make a one-off appearance at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event next year or something else, since fans would love to see him back.
