Shubman Gill has put an end to speculation about a rift between him and Hardik Pandya after their interactions during the IPL 2025 Eliminator sparked rumors online. During the match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians, fans noticed an awkward moment at the toss when Gill seemingly ignored Pandya’s handshake. Later, Pandya’s intense celebration after Gill’s dismissal further fueled speculation about tension between the two players.
MI romp GT in Eliminator
Speaking about MI vs GT Eliminator match, MI batted and posted a mammoth 228 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Rohit Sharma was in great touch as he missed his century by not much. Chasing 229 to win, GT lost their skipper Shubman Gill early but the Titans remained in the chase for the first 15 overs with Sai Sudarshan being the main scorer for the Titans. In the end, it was too much to ask from the GT batters as they lost the match by 20 runs.
