Corey Graves has been a regular part of the commentary team on Monday Night Raw ever since Pat McAfee has been on a hiatus from television. While it’s not known when McAfee will return, it appears there are many in WWE who want Graves to be a regular part of the main roster.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, many people within WWE strongly want Corey Graves featured on main roster television every week, no matter who else is available. While they acknowledge the value Pat McAfee brings, many believe Graves is far too talented and passionate to stay off TV. It’s not known whether WWE plans to bring back the three-man commentary booths for their shows.
“According to several within WWE, there is a strong contingency to get Corey Graves on main roster TV weekly regardless of who is or is not available. While several understand the value that Pat McAfee brings to the company, many feel like Graves is way too good and way too passionate to not be on main roster TV week in and week out. Unable to confirm if WWE has interest in bringing back the 3 man booths for TV.”
Corey Graves made headlines after expressing frustration in now-deleted tweets about being moved to NXT but Graves has fully redeemed himself in the past few months. We even reported that WWE has fully moved on from the whole drama about Graves’ NXT move now.
This is most definitely great news for Corey Graves, who has continued to show the world why he is one of the best commentators on WWE programming in general. Therefore, we’ll have to see if he will end up becoming a permanent member of the main roster soon enough.
