Kiana James made a strong impact when she was called up to Monday Night RAW during the 2024 WWE Draft. However, she’s been off television since June 2024 due to an injury. With that said, it appears that she has been spotted backstage at this week’s SmackDown ahead of the show.
According to Fightful Select, Kiana James was seen backstage at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, ahead of this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on the USA Network.
While it’s not confirmed if Kiana James will actually appear on the show, it’s expected that her return to WWE programming is coming soon, following nearly a year away due to injury.
While Kiana James had been off WWE television, she focused on recovery, working hard in rehab and training regularly at the gym. Her dedication showed that she was determined to come back stronger than ever.
Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether Kiana James does make her triumphant return to WWE television this week, as fans feel she more than deserves to show the world what she’s actually capable of.
