Piyush Chawla began his cricket journey at just 15, making waves in competitive cricket. Born on December 24, 1988, in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, he caught everyone’s eye when he bowled Sachin Tendulkar with a clever googly in the 2005-06 Challenger Series.

In the 2005-06 Ranji Trophy, Chawla’s 35 wickets and 224 runs helped Uttar Pradesh clinch their first-ever title, earning him the Madhavrao Scindia Award as the season’s top wicket-taker.
