Midfielder, Mitch Pinnock has re-joined Bromley on a free transfer from Northampton Town.
Pinnock previously made seven appearances for Bromley during 2014-15 season, although he did enjoy loan spells at Concord Rangers and Tonbridge Angels during the course that campaign before he left to join Maidstone United.
The 30-year-old has now decided to return to the Copperjax Stadium on a free transfer after he rejected a new contract at Northampton, where he had scored 25 goals in 200 appearances over the last four seasons.
Pinnock is the Ravens’ first summer signing and he explained that he was “excited” about Bromley’s ambitions and vowed to bring his promotion-winning experience, having been promoted with the Cobblers at the end of 2022-23 season.
“The reason I chose Bromley was because after meeting with the manager and the chairman, I was excited about the future ambitions for the club.
“What I can bring to the team is experience of getting promoted out of League Two and on the pitch, I can bring energy, creativity and character.
“I’m buzzing to be back and I can’t wait to see the fans during pre-season. We’ve got an exciting season ahead. Come on Bromley!”
Pinnock began his career at Southend United and went on loan to East Thurrock United in 2013-14 season before he spent a year with Bromley, from which he went on to play for Maidstone – where he again enjoyed a loan spell at Tonbridge Angels in 2015-16 season.
That campaign also saw him enjoy a stint at Dover and Kingstonian, only to then settle at Dover for two whole seasons before he joined AFC Wimbledon, where he scored seven goals in 73 appearances before he spent 2020-21 season at Scotland’s Kilmarnock.
