Brock Lesnar might be off WWE television, but his name just exploded back into pop culture—thanks to none other than Lil Wayne.
The legendary rapper just dropped his long-awaited album Tha Carter VI, and on the eighth track, “Cotton Candy” featuring 2 Chainz, Wayne doesn’t hold back with vivid imagery that includes a shoutout to The Beast Incarnate himself.
In a verse loaded with drug references and explicit metaphors, Lil Wayne compares rough sex to getting manhandled like a WWE superstar—specifically name-dropping Lesnar by name. The lyrics go:
“Twenty-five lines on the dresser
Ran off on the plug like a Tesla
Coke make her sneeze, God bless her
F** her like a wrestler, Brock Lesnar”*
Wayne’s WWE ties run deep—he even performed Jey Uso’s entrance at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia earlier this year. So it’s no shock that WWE’s former top attraction ended up in his lyrics.
As for Lesnar, he’s still off WWE programming following SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. While his absence initially raised questions, his name appearing in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon quickly answered them. As Ringside News exclusively confirmed, Lesnar won’t be returning until the legal situation is resolved—and right now, that’s still very much in limbo.
Still, fans were caught off guard in the best way when Lil Wayne name-dropped Lesnar. WWE may be keeping Brock away for now, but his legacy still packs enough heat to earn a bar from one of the biggest rappers alive.
