Giulia made her debut at NXT No Mercy last year and in just 9 months, she has been called up to Friday Night SmackDown. While she’s still adjusting to the main roster environment, Giulia admitted she wished she had learned English properly before getting the call up.
While speaking to Mera Wrestling, Giulia talked about how fast everything moved after joining WWE, especially getting called up to the main roster in just eight or nine months.
Giulia said the pace of WWE was already fast, but the speed of her promotion truly surprised her. She admitted that she hadn’t fully learned English yet and felt a bit sorry about not being more prepared in that area.
“The overwhelming speed of it all. I already thought WWE’s pace was incredibly fast to begin with, but I’m truly surprised by this speed of moving up to the main roster in just eight or nine months. I’m like, ‘Oh no, I still haven’t properly learned English!’ So I feel like, ‘I’m sorry I haven’t learned English.’”
Initially she really wanted to move up quickly but as she wrestled day after day, match after match, everything felt new and exciting. Time passed so fast that when the call-up finally came, she was shocked. It all felt like it happened in the blink of an eye, and she couldn’t believe how quickly it all happened.
“At first, of course, I had the feeling of ‘I want to go quickly, I want to go quickly.’ But as I wrestled in WWE, every single day, every single match, every single show, everything was new to me, so time just flew by in an instant until today. There’s definitely a feeling of, ‘Already?’ It all feels like it happened incredibly fast.”
Giulia is currently set to compete in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and so we’ll have to wait and see how she will fare in the match, but fans are definitely excited about her future on the main roster.
