F1 have unveiled a 24-race calendar for the 2026 season, featuring the move of Spanish Grand Prix from Barcelona to Madrid.
Madrid will host the Spanish GP for the first time on weekend of 11-13 September in the penultimate jaunt of the European leg, which will begin with a trip to Monaco on 5-7 June followed by a trip to Barcelona a week later on weekend of 12-14 June.
The European section of the season will conclude on 27 September with the Azerbaijan GP in Baku.
Australia will once again play host to the season-opener on weekend of 6-8 March followed by China, Japan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Miami GP as the opening six rounds of the 2025 season remain in its exact order next year.
Canada however has moved from its traditional June slot to the weekend of 22-24 May, thereby clashing with the iconic Indy 500 in a move destined to split motorsport fans.
Once the European phase is complete, F1 returns to Asia for the Singapore GP on weekend of 9-11 October
The first of two season-concluding triple-headers of the season commences in Texas, USA, on weekend of 23-25 October, followed by Mexico and Sao Paulo Grands Prix on 1 and 8 November respectively.
Las Vegas then kicks off the run-in on weekend of 19-21 November followed by Qatar from 27-29 November before Abu Dhabi plays host to the season finale on weekend of 4-6 December.
F1 President and CEO, Stefano Domenicali has welcomed the new calendar as the sport prepares to welcome the Spanish GP’s switch to Madrid amidst a new wave of regulations, whilst Audi, Cadillac and Ford join the grid in “a new era” for F1.
