Each week we post a Player of the Week poll and a Team of the Week poll. Here’s how to vote, share and see the winners.
After another fun week of the spring high school sports season, it’s time to look back on the top team performances.
Read about the teams that stood out last week and let us know which one should be the North Jersey Team of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.
Voting closes at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Mahwah girls lacrosse
The Thunderbirds went 2-0 last week to start a season 4-0 for the first time since 2015.
Northern Highlands baseball
The Highlanders went 3-0 last week and are now 5-1 on the season. Thursday’s win over Paramus Catholic was career win No. 300 for coach Paul Albarella.
Ramapo girls track & field
The Raiders won their first Bergen County Relays title, knocking off Ridgewood in the A division.
Ramsey boys lacrosse
The Rams picked up the 100th win in program history with Wednesday 12-6 victory over Montclair Kimberley. They went 2-0 last week and have won five straight games.
Ridgewood boys track & field
The Maroons won their ninth straight Bergen County Relays title, winning the A division.
River Dell softball
After starting the season 0-3, the Golden Hawks went 2-0 last week and upset Ramsey, which is ranked No. 4 in the latest North Jersey Top 25.
Waldwick softball
The Warriors won two games last week by a 22-2 combined score. They are now 6-0 so far this season.
Wayne Hills baseball
After starting the season 1-3, the Patriots put together a 3-0 week, winning those games by a combined score of 24-0.
