TNA Wrestling and WWE’s partnership has been a major topic since May 2024, when Jordynne Grace showed up on WWE NXT. Since then, there have been several talent exchanges between the two companies. However, Mark Henry feels that TNA isn’t benefiting enough from the partnership and needs to gain more from the deal with WWE
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry stated that TNA needs to benefit more from the partnership. He pointed out that in matchups like Moose vs. Oba Femi or Joe Hendry’s appearances, WWE talent usually comes out looking stronger. He believes it should be more balanced, where both sides win sometimes and build to even matches.
“I think that TNA needs to get more and I think that can happen. You see a match with Moose and Oba Femi, it’s going to be Oba Femi. You see a match with Joe Hendry, he’s the only one that’s getting the love. It’s got to go back and forth, ‘you win one, I win one, let’s have the rubber match.’”
This comes after Joe Hendry shocked the world when he answered Randy Orton’s open challenge at WrestleMania 41 and immediately got destroyed by The Apex Predator at the event.
WWE and TNA Wrestling’s partnership is still in full swing since Joe Hendry made an appearance during the April 29th edition of NXT, where he called out Trick Williams and got beaten up by Darkstate.
While the partnership has created exciting moments for fans, Mark Henry believes that for it to succeed in the long run, TNA needs to come out with more wins, and talent that aren’t just used to make WWE stars look good. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if TNA will end up getting more benefits in the long run.
What do you think? Is WWE giving TNA enough respect in this partnership, or is the deal too one-sided? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
